Born and raised in Lane County, David has spent his life in Springfield building businesses, mentoring new entrepreneurs, raising a family, and giving back. • Prioritized public safety by securing funds for rural patrols from tax savings from strategic investments.
• Opposed new taxes and fees including the new State Gas Tax.
• Fought for real solutions to the homelessness & mental health crises in Lane County.
• Fought for fair wages for frontline and union workers while voting against pay raises for County Commissioners.
• Taken a strong stand against government waste in Lane County by stopping wasteful CleanLane spending that has raised costs on families and protected neighborhoods by blocking landfill super-siting near homes.
