ABOUT ANNA SCHARF
Anna is married to a 4th generation farmer outside Amity and has two grown children. Anna has been married to her husband for almost 27 years and works with him and his family on the farm, while also serving as your current State Representative. Prior to working on the farm, she worked for local and international companies in various aspects of supply chain management and has volunteered with various non-profit organizations over the years.
STRONG ADVOCATE FOR NATURAL RESOURCES
Prior to being elected, Anna drafted and lobbied legislation, giving farmers payment protection on seed crops they grow. During the 2026 session she passed legislation to further protect payment rights and keep international companies from taking advantage of family farms.
UNDERSTANDING LOCAL BUSINESS NEEDS
Oregon businesses are challenged now more than ever. As a small business owner Anna understands those challenges firsthand. In 2026 Anna assumed Vice-Chair of the House Labor Committee and successfully fought off legislation that would have further harmed local businesses with more government overreach.
SUCCESSFULLY PARTNERING WITH LOCAL ELECTED LEADERS TO GET RESULTS
Anna works closely with several Yamhill County officials on the Newberg-Dundee Bypass project and is engaged with Polk County officials on various highway safety issues and infrastructure needs. She will continue to work with local leaders, advocate at the State, and link with Federal partners to bring resources from all levels to our communities.
PROTECTING OUR MOST VENERABLE CITIZENS
During the 2025 Legislative Session, Anna was successful in passing a bill that spurred a $33M allocation towards wage increases for direct support professionals who work with our intellectually disabled and elderly community.
