Douglas County Patriots, the first duty of every public official is to secure and preserve the people’s God-given rights enumerated in the Constitution for the United States of America and the Oregon State Constitution.
As a veteran of the U.S. military, I swore an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. County Commissioners take that same oath and must faithfully uphold it.
These duties include protecting the liberties guaranteed by the First Amendment to the Constitution, along with protections contained in the Oregon Constitution, including Article I, Section 8 (free expression) and Section 26 (the right of the people to instruct their representatives).
This Constitution further establishes in Article II, Section 7 that anyone who offers bribery, threats, or rewards to secure election is disqualified from office.
Elections are fundamentally a matter of county concern, and maintaining transparent and secure elections for citizens is essential to preserving public confidence in government.
Our current County Commissioners are not upholding their oath.
My platform:
Transparency – full audits to identify fraud, waste and abuse.
Prosperity – unleash jobs, reduce wasteful spending, and taxes (maybe even elimination of property and income/ wage) to make Douglas County an economic leader in Oregon.
Accountability – pursue justice, restore opportunity for THE PEOPLE and help the City with homeless issues.
Together we can build a sanctuary of constitutional rights, strong timber jobs, thriving families, and a future where freedom and prosperity define Douglas County.
Vote Sam Frost to usher in a golden age and to freeze out the fraud in Douglas County!
