STRONG VOICE, SMART SOLUTIONS
Promote Responsible Growth
West Salem’s rapid population growth has strained infrastructure, leading to increased congestion and long commutes. I will continue advocating for regional solutions, including another river crossing, and smarter development that supports housing affordability. We need more businesses and services in West Salem so residents can live, work, and shop closer to home.
Compassionate Solutions for the Unsheltered
As your City Councilor, I’m delivering interventions that move people from the streets to stability and keep neighborhoods and businesses safe. I’ll continue supporting Salem Police’s Homeless Services Team and other city programs to clean up camps and connect people to services and housing, while reducing camping in Wallace Marine Park.
Preserve Our Parks and Green Spaces
Green space is essential to community health. I’ve protected natural areas and delivered amenities—from tree plantings to disc golf and better trails. I’ll continue safeguarding and improving our parks so Salem families can enjoy them for generations. I oppose overnight camping in our parks.
Build Trust in Government
As your City Councilor for the past four years, I’ve led with integrity, held the Council to high ethical standards, and demanded public meetings to ensure transparency and accountability. I’ll expand opportunities for community engagement to ensure policies reflect your concerns, and your tax dollars deliver results.
