I’ve lived in Salem for over 30 years. I raised my kids here, own a small business, and spent decades investing in this community.

Before becoming Mayor, I served on the Salem City Council, where I stood up for residents and affordability — including leading the opposition to the employee-paid payroll tax. I ran for Mayor because Salem was headed in the wrong direction.

A Year of Real Results for Salem:

• Closed a $23 million city budget gap and balanced Salem’s budget, opposing new taxes without voter approval
• Hired more police officers and improved coordination between first responders and county partners
• Expanded seven-day-a-week safety, cleanup, outreach
• Worked with nearby cities and counties on solutions to homelessness and social services
• Supported local businesses and refocused City Hall on core services
• Removed a convicted murderer from the Community Police Review Board without hesitation

This is real progress, but there is more to do. I will keep working to make Salem safer, cleaner, more accountable and stable. Prioritizing public safety, pursuing coordinated solutions to homelessness, supporting local businesses, and making sure taxpayers receive a return on their investments.
