EXPERIENCE—INTEGRITY—COMPASSION
I’m running for judge to continue making a positive impact on children and families in the judicial system. Now more than ever, judges play a critical role in ensuring fairness and integrity in our justice system.
I’ve spent the last 6 years as a full-time Judge Pro Tem on the family law bench, and have practiced law for 24 years. As a public defender, I have taken over 200 cases to trial. I have a deep understanding of the complex issues before the court.
I believe the judicial system is key to empowering people and communities to thrive, whether protecting public safety or helping young people find their way toward a second chance. I believe we need restorative—not just punitive—justice.
As a husband, father, mentor, and coach, I bring empathy and compassion to my interactions with people who come before me in the courtroom. Public service is my calling. I ask for your vote!
“Joe is unfailingly professional, diligent and compassionate. He will bring strong skills and even-handed fairness to his work as a Circuit Court Judge on the family law bench.”
Judge Cheryl Albrecht
