A Governor must bring Oregon a clear vision - and a plan to bring opportunity to every corner of our state.
I am an Oregon native. I understand technology, and how transformational it can be.
Oregon can lead in AI and automation to revolutionize education, revitalize manufacturing, and develop renewable resources to export high-value finished goods to the world. But we must start making bold choices.
Our future depends on three priorities: Expanding opportunity, making life affordable again, and preparing our children for tomorrow's economy.
This is the future I offer.
Action Plan:
1) Economic Growth: It is time for an Oregon Business Incubator. One element is a Business Reviews platform with 5-star rating system. Start-ups with strong reviews grow to $150k income with zero tax and waived permit fees.
2) Housing: When the average Oregonian cannot buy the average home, our land-use policy has failed. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Laws must adapt to provide affordable homes.
3) Education: I propose a new Alternative Educational Pathways program giving students flexibility to pursue technology tracks and skills for tomorrow’s economy.
4) Farmers: I will end the regulatory madness. Farmers need water, freedom, and the ability to sell their finished product.
5) Renewable Energy: Newberry Crater is a geothermal jewel barely explored. I will expedite development to strengthen Oregon’s long-term energy security.
6) Portland: OHP should apply equitable standards in healthcare coverage. I oppose child transition, but adults should have access to fertility preservation options supported by insurance.
Our future can be extraordinary if we focus on what matters: Expanding opportunities, affordability, and preparing our children for the future.
